Bandsaw Blade Guides
Hi all,
Does anyone have an idea where I can get hold of a set up bandsaw blade guides? Timbecon sell them however they're out of stock (BR-06 Bandsaw Guides). Somewhere in Melbourne would be preferable however would be happy to purchase interstate.
Thanks in advance.-Scott

The Guides.
Hi Scott,
Maybe I have the wrong end of the stick, but couldn't you just buy the Bearings from an Engineering Shop & replace them yourself, & take the pieces with you, or is it that you have to buy the Whole Lot as per the Photo.
That seems a waste of money to my way of thinkingRegards,
issatree.

Yeah issatree, it is a little exorbitant, however I broke the cast iron 'holder' for the bearings for the top guide (when I pulled the shed door down ). I've got all the parts however it would be near impossible to weld or repair. Besides the current guides are the nylon type and I'd weather replace with bearings.
Thanks for the advice-Scott

Carbatec has some but not sure if they are the ones you want. try this link.
if it doesnt work, search their website by typing in "Deluxe 14" Blade Guide set" they are priced at $89 They look identical to the ones at TimbeconReality is no background music.
Cheers John

I would suggest to replace bearings it these had seize up. The ones on my bandsaw were almost solid.

Thanks for your responses everyone, I'll get the Carbatec guides next week. Will more than likely have to make a collet for the top guide.
