Banker's Lamp Base
I picked up a secondhand banker's lampshade without a base while in Tassie. I made a base from some old building hardwood I had lying around and some Tassie Oak. The brassware on the base is also reclaimed stock. I also made the serviette holder in the background, similar to someones else's design.

Very nice. Thanks for the pic. I like the brass strip accents on the lamp base.
What did you use as a weight for the holder?

Serviette Holder

Thanks for the likes and comments. The weight is a large black pebble that I drilled with a masonry drill and the two brass ferrules hold it all together with epoxy. A bit of a rough job with the epoxy, I should have masked it up.The first step towards knowledge is to know that we are ignorant.
