Default Triangular designs in timber box

Hi Folks, I am trying to copy a box I purchased several years ago. The designs on the sides and lids are triangular, should be a file attached. Can anyone give me a steer on how to go about this kind of design. Many thanks, Hereward

    Default Triangle

Thanks for tip. Sample I have suggests done by machine. There are 17 motifs on the box, can't belive they were done by hand. Must be a router or similar way of doing this?

From the variation in the triangular shapes almost certainly done by hand.
Done by a machine off a jig they’d be exactly the same.
The fact they’re not perfect is the appeal of that style of work.

Not if you want it to look nice. What gives such items their style is that they're not geometrically perfect and somewhat crude. A router set up will never achieve that, or even look good. CNC could do it but I doubt you have access to such a machine and it would look sterile with it's preciseness.

That example isn't going to require chip carving tools. You could do it all with bench chisels and sharp box cutter knives. Wood choice would be crucial also.

    YMMV
