Did anybody see the medieval castle builder's 13 knot rope on SBS tonight?

It wasn't used for for the golden mean but the bit of a demo that was given with it was an eye opener.
    Cliff.

No. Pity, it sounds like the sort of show I would've enjoyed.

I know a 13 knot rope gives the good ol' 3:4:5 triangle and appropriate angles, but I believe they used it for a lot more than just that?
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.
