Default A bed meant for a dog...

So, since my dog likes to spend so much time on our front terrace I thought it only humane to build him a comfy bed to rest his weary head on rather than leave him on the hard cement.
I had an old trellis that used to be a section of a balcony balustrade and figured it would be a good base to let the cushion breathe and prevent mould etc. From there I simply attached four feet, biscuited some plywood around it and installed some extra support in the center since the slats are quite thin.
I played around with a few angles and settled on taking a gentle continuous slope from one fifth in each side at the rear around to the front opening.
The dog unfortunately doesn't always get dibs on it's use however...

By the way it is the same dog, he just had a shave in between shots

You better make another bed for that cat.

Ensure that it is the same size so either can be used.

I like it but the pressure is on.
SWMBO has seen it and wants one!.

However I reckon our dogs would probably lay in the dirt instead of the bed.

Our smaller dog reckons "she's a dog meant for our bed"

Some time ago I read that Sir Winston Churchill said something like: "Dogs look up to man and cats look down on man but the pig is the only animal that can look man in the eye and see his equal.".

    Cats are cool, man

One of our dogs is as big as the cats (we have 4) and they keep him in line. They even keep the 2 big dogs in line
    Just do it!

    Kind regards Rod
