Belt/Disc Sander Assembly
 I have just aquired from a generous friend an old (1987) Ryobi HBDS46 belt & disc sander, but it's in bits.
I can probably work out how it goes back together by trial & error eventually, but if anyone out there has any information on the assembly and wiring of the thing, I'd be very happy to hear from you. I tried the Ryobi website, but I don't think there was a www when this machine was born.

I had one of those but it gave up the ghost last year  however the parts may still be usefull for some future application.
Therefore I still have the original manual that came with it. It has 18 pages covering assembly, safety rules, useage, maintenace, trouble shooting and probably most important to you the parts diagram.
Send me a pm with your email address and which parts you want and I'll send a scanned copy to you. Might take a few days as my daughter ( the computer whizz ) is away for a few days.
Peter.

Too good to be true! A win on my first post!
I have most of the bits...I'll probably know better what's missing when I see the book. It seems as if there should be a guide/stop of some sort for the belt, and the sliding adjustable guide for the disc table is missing. Apart from that, I'm a bit in the dark.
It has a new motor which was never fitted, so anything on the wiring would be good. In fact, anything would be better than the puzzle in a box I have now.
If the bits you have are no use to you I'd be happy to take them off you hands if a price/barter could be arrived at. I could even come & pick them up; I'm only in Carnegie.
You can email me at: [email protected]
Thanks Peter.
