    Default Bench Dog Problem

While filming a recent TV Show. There were the inevitable bloopers and outtakes some were fluffed words some a little more serious.

This bench dog problem set us back quite a bit

Camera crew were no help at all to busy laughing

    Cheers

I have had a similar problem of putting down a project part, turning around to grab something and when I turn back the dog is looking eagerly like it looks like a good chew toy. Luckily he has only got his jaws on scraps so far..

    Looking forward to the show.

Yep, but hard to stay cranky at 'em for to long, seeing as he's the only one that visits me in the shed and never wants a beer!

I am glad that you shared this. I also think it might make good viewing as a blooper to the show.

This might help explain why, even though you require 4, you make 6 of a part. 1 for testing tool settings, another in-case you have a mishap, the other 4 you use. Of the two that do not get used, you use to test your finishes. When the project is completed the two parts left over are then used for clamping, under saws, making pen blanks or horrors of horrors stirring the paint!

Funny you should mention that, today I just saw the opening segments for the start of each show.

Yep, they thought it was pretty funny too.

Featuring film footage of it before the start of each show.

So he has earned the name "Bench Dog Bob"

Previous to the aforementioned incident it was just BOB!

    Cheers
