Well i missed out on the Elu one on eBay by $5, couldn't get to a computer to bid any higher
Called that shop that Lignum posted about, no cigar there either......
BUT
I found a place in the UK that posts to Australia via TNT, and bought one there
Some really good deals from this place with our dollar being so strong at the moment, take a look

He said that he only had a Bosch one in, and had never heard of the Elu one.
Thanks though, was worth a try

Not a problem mate, hardly anyone has heard of these Biscuit Joiners that work sideways off a fence like this, him included.
I emailed Dewalt and asked them why they don't sell them here, all they could say was 'there is no demand for them', all i could say to that was 'thats because hardly anyone has heard of them', i can't see why they wouldn't sell here
Oh well, sorted now

I find the normal biscuit joiners and the domino a bit awkward to use when say you are working with a piece that is 60mm x 20mm, and you want the groove/domino on the widest face, meaning you have to rest the fence on the 20mm, then try and hold it square. Unless you have a piece behind it the same height, its really awkward.
With the Dewalt one you can lay the piece down on its widest face, then hold the fence on the 20mm edge, alot easier and safer, not so much of a balancing act.
When using the Domino i usually have a thick (33mm) piece underneath it, then hld the machine vertically and plunge in. It works OK but its alot of messing around.
The Bosch one Steve was talking about was a normal front plunging one Lignum, sorry!!

Thanks for the heads up on that UK tool site. I have been searching for a DW625E router and just ordered one. The price was less than I had ever seen over the counter here. $431.00 to my door in a week approx. SWMBO not too happy but such is life. Now I have to sell the big Triton I ordered from UK last week. It still hasn't arrived but if anyone is interested it owes me $408 after the Paypal exchange rate.
PM me.....
ColGood better best, never let it rest, until your good is better and your better best.
