you could try mother of pearl otherwise just hit some normal screws with a bit of blackboard paint or similar.

they used to be called GJ WORKS kits, and came in red boxes, like mini-tackleboxes - and are Phillips head self tapping screws - you can buy them from any Repco or Autobarn and they are black anodised so the colour doesnt come off.
Available is a wide range of guages and lengths.
they are avilable in countersink and round head
there are also square drive & Hex Head ones avail. if youre looking for a more "proprietary" look. I once bought teeny weeny (technical term you may not be familiar with) Unbrako bolts for a Uni project ..... they were an absolute hit! Must post a pic of them one of these days, theyre so cute.
BTW, what's the application?
Have funSteve

if you don't get much success try soundman's secret(?) black screw recipie.
I use a lot of black screws & find the commercial ones a bit ordinary, not black enough, scratch to easily, not available in a range of sizes. originaly tried just spraying screws, very ordinary results.
try this.
take a quantity of screws (or washers, bolts, nuts....).
put them in an icecream container, add a good slop of rust(not too much it will froth up ) convertor & stur with your least favorite screw driver. keep sturing till all the plating & or rust is removed & they are a nice gray colour.
do this outside with plenty of ventilation & don't breath the fumes use normal safety precautions when working with acid.
then wash them with copious amounts of water & strain.
take a piece of cardboard & poke them in nice & close together (but not too close)
take a heat gun or hair drier & get em good & dry, and nice & warm.
preferably spray with black etch primer then with your black paint of choice (I like GMH flat black).
make sure you spray from 4 directions and at least 2 coats.
its best to warm the screws a little before coats.
even if you only use spray tin black these will be better than most others, if you don't etch the zink off the paint wont stick well at all.
cheers
