bookshelves
hi everyone , i would like to know what is the best way of joining laminated particleboard?
i want to make bookshelves and was going to bunnys and buy their pre cut boards with the holes for adjusting shelf heights ,i would like to be able to see the wall behind the bookcase, any ideas would be appreciated regards ian

Hi Ian,
I think it might be tricky to do without some form of bracing. There is a chance of "racking". You may be able to rabbet the shelves into the sides which might help althought I'm not sure how you could do this with laminated boards.

why not make the backing board the out of the same material as the wall if its lined. If its painted just paint the backing board the same colour it will hide it
