Bought some barn wood and need some info?
I am wondering how long it will take to dry barn wood in a kiln? I think it might be hemlock as i am in southern Ontario Canada and that is the norm here. The wood is 2" taken from the floor boards.
Thanks in advance.

If it was floor boards, that's called wood "dried in service". There's nothing more for you to do.
Under cover, "outside,", you can expect woods to dry to an equilibrium moisture content of 12-14% at a rate of about 1" thickness per year.
That gobbledy-gook means that a 2" plank ought to be at equilibrium MC in 2 years or less.
Keep the stack outside, stickered and covered with a tarp. Move the stickers every few months so you don't
get "sticker shadows" = faint stains in the wood.
