Brass/Copper Head Upholstery Nails
Does anyone know where I can buy high dome brass or copper head upholstery nails in Oz. I know I can get them from UK but would rather give my hard earned to an Oz retailer. I just cannot find any. Bloke from Fisco in UK gave me the name of a distributor here but have not had a response to my email - probably not seen as a big enough customer.
If anyone knows i'd be very grateful for the info.
Cheers.
PS. Before anyone asks - a search on this forum returns no responses.

just a thought, have you tried ringing up one of the nail manufacturers they should be able to atleast tell you where to get them if they will not sell direct to you?.....

Why not ask your local upholsterer. If you only need a few he will probably sell them to you or else tell you who supplies them

These guys seem to have the nails in strips that you attach in one go (makes it easier to keep them regular):

Upholstery Nails
Thanks to all for your responses. I have had some success over the last 24 hours with a request to a UK company who gave me their distributor in Oz.
They have since responded from both Perth and Brisbane outlets each offering to supply based on 1000 pack lots. Company is UDA (Upholstering Distributors Australia) and they have branches in every state. Their prices are very keen on the pack lots and seeing they dont deteriorate I'm going to look at buying from them. Another company, Shann, also responded and the prices are very similar. UDA are sending me samples today, Shann have already done so. I will look at them and if they are the right thing I shall post with pics. I'll end up with 10 years supply but you'll all know who to ask if you need any!!!
Cheers and thanks again for the responses.

Upholstery Nails
I just read my post again - I don't mean 1000 packs - I mean packs of 1000 nails. I might be crazy but not quite that crazy.
Cheers,

Upholstery Nails
If you are looking for a great range of upholstery nails you can't beat the padgham upholstery website. They have HEAPS and all in different sizes, colours and designs. The service was great too, the girls were very helpful on the phone and the nails arrived the next day by post.
