I made a crude version of their joint maker ages ago and it was great. Used an old Jap Saw blade. One day i will make a quality version. I love their tools

Used to ogle the Bridge City stuff friends in LA owned.

Gotta get me one of these - Wicked lil thing. Beats buying kerfed linings for our guitars and makes Roycroft/Stickley,Greene & Greene inspired drawer joinery a snap it seems.

Those guys Downeast (from the state of Maine) are awesome. Long cold winters do strange things to designers. Bridge City, Ned Steinberger, George Bush Sr. (NOT)

Mayhaps we will get a bit of this frigid winter inspiration as we are whackin thru a ute load of fire wood every three days at present.

Thanks for the heads up on this one.

Has anyone who pre-ordered one of these heard any more about it???

Website still says delivery in September, and we're now well through October !

I emailed them, and the response said "shipping in early October". Clearly that was wrong too.....

Bridge City Toolworks' business model is all very well (i.e. pay half up front), but I have to say they don't do a very good job of keeping the punters informed

I saw on a blog somewhere that they were commencing shipping today. Be grateful that the dollar is moving in the right direction for the second payment.
