Building a Bed Loft
I'm not sure if this is the right forum, so I apologize if I've made a mistake. I have a question about building a loft bed. Basically, what I would like to do is build a bed with a full mattress on top; underneath the bed, I'd like to have a desk (for my computer). On one of the walls, I would like to build in a wardrobe with two drawers underneath (the wardrobe would hold clothes hangers and the drawers would hold things like socks).
Here's my question: how much would something like this cost? And is it possible to construct this consuming a minimal amount of space?

Anywhere from a few hundred dollars up, depending on what timber and how fancy your design is.
There's a variety of free loft bed plans here. Many of those are from construction timber, which is pretty cheap to buy. The most expensive parts are likely to be the drawer runners and hinges.
