Building a tile top side table
My husband found an attractive faux marble tile at Mitre10 that is 300mm x 600mm and I've decided it to make a side table for the hallway with the tile as its table top. I'm wondering what the best adhesive would be to attach my tile to the radiata pine side table frame that I'm building for it. In the garage I have tile adhesive, Liquid Nails woodglue and PVA woodworking glue. Tile adhesive can be a bit sloppy to work with so I'm thinking Liquid Nails woodglue may be better, but then again its not designed to adhere ceramic tile to wood.
Has anyone else tried to make a tile top table and have some better ideas? Thanks.

Go for a good quality tile glue.
They are designed for the job and will be flexible enough to account for
any movement in the table.
you can always use tape to protect the timber work from the glue if
you think that will be a problem.

I've only tiled onto plywood before and used liquid nails both times, our tile shop said tile adhesive wasn't a good idea.....but that as onto ply - straight up pine might move too much....
