Bunbury Timber Auction - Lots of Jarrah
Anyone interested in picking up some cheap Jarrah should head to Bunbury tomorrow.... A housing construction company has gone belly up and there's an auction of about 200 tons of sawn timber. Lots of Jarrah. You can often pick up great bargains at these auctions.....

I wouldnt hold my breath hoping for a bargain amongst that lot.
The guy was bought out after going under a while back and from what i hear they are selling excess stock to look after creditors.
They wont be giving it away.
I bet there are reserves on all items, but wont (arent game enough) to advertise it.

Interesting Steve. Thanks. Think I'll wander up to take a look anyway. Some of those wide boards look good. You'd expect around half normal wholesale at about $1000 a cubic meter?

Well they werent "giving it away" but some went for a song... but you sure had to be selective!
