    Default Bushes on saw blades?

I'm in the market for a new scms and had a thought to get one with the same size 30mm arbor on my table saw so that blades are interchangeable. Any thoughts or experience with using bushes on blades?
    Cheers,
    Paul

I think you'll be hard pressed to find a miter saw with a 30mm shaft. I've never had any issues with bushes, as long as it's a snug fit they work fine.

My Festool Kapex KS120 SCMS blades are all with a 30mm arbor hole, but you need to be careful - the blades used on a SCMS and tablesaw can have different rake angles, due to the nature of the mechanism and the way the cut is made. The SCMS blade is usually a negative rake ( or hook ) angle. Have a look at the end of this article.
My Kapex has a -5 deg rake angle, for example, whereas the CMT blade on my table saw has a +10deg rake angle, and 15 deg rake is not uncommon

    yep 100% spot on.

the 300mm CMT blades i buy for my drop saw have 30mm hole but saw has 25.4mm so i buy a bush to fit, no issue at all to use.

Thanks all for the replies & link, got exactly the info I needed.

I've been to three different tool shops and not one staff mention about different blades for table saws & mitre saws. No wonder people are buying online.
