    Hey all,
Looking for recommendations to buy quality card scrapers that won’t cost a kidney to purchase?

Go to your local tip and pick up an old handsaw. Cut the blade to the shape you want.

I have made them from the 1.25" hard steel strapping found on large lifts of timber.
Leonard Lee's book on Sharpening has an excellent description of processing and sharpening.
