Where can I buy Carnauba Wax blocks/sticks?
I've been using a lump of carnauba wax to lube the tables on various machines (mainly in-/out-feed tables on thicknessers) for years now... but what was once a 6"x2"x2" block has worn over time to about a cubic inch.
So, it's time to replace it! However, I can't find a single solitary supplier that sells 100% pure blocks.
Some advertise it as such, (generally various autowax, wax candle, essential oils suppliers) but on close inspection they're always scented, coloured or somehow modified for "ease of application."
Ease of application? Carnauba wax? I'm not sure I'm even on the same planet as these people...
I've looked at the Liberon & Mylands brand woodturner sticks, but they're not the right colour either. At least they don't claim 100% purity.
So... help?

Do a search for natural carnauba wax Aus and it should turn up some soap making supply shops that sell it. Probably won't be in a block but you can melt it down and cast it into a block pretty easily.

Geez, I'm going back a long time here but Carnauba wax is what we used to use on out surfboards when I was a teenager. Is it worth trying a surf shop?

Carnauba Wax (British Pharmacopeia grade) should be a paler shade of yellow. However, the less refined brown grade should be fine as a lubricant for your thicknesser. I wouldn't be too concerned about 100% purity provided it's not mixed with an unknown resin.
Try aussiesoapsupplies.com.au who sell light yellow pellets which can be melted into a mould. I would use a plastic overcap sitting in a pan of boiling water. Something like a builder's bog cap would do the job.
I use UBeaut wax polish which works fine as a lubricant.

Will definitely be giving it a go after my tub of silverglide runs out

That looks like a great idea. I have water based PU on my shed floor (Yellow Tongue board) and it's tough as hell - so on tables it should last a good long while. My Thicky combo has what I presumed was SilverGlide on it when it was delivered, and I hated it - kept on rubbing onto the timber. I just use wax, like many others do, and I still get a bit of grey gunk on the timber (underside, using the thicky). The PU may stop the grey gunk too.

Thanks fellas, I knew this was the right place to ask..
...on following through some of the links I came across this: Woodworking Supplies S/E QLD - Carnauba Wax Stick
There's no mention of weight on the product so I can't evaluate its' bang for buck, but at $10 what have I got to lose? Pat's link looks like a viable backup plan too.
Ths site itself rings a bell but I can't place it. I wonder if it has evolved from one of the old penturning suppliers sites?
I don't think the coconut oil additive would be the wisest choice for a paint-friendly finish. But good memory!

Have a look at U Beaut's Food Safe Oil. The blurb says that when 1% clove oil is added this gives extra protection for quality steels.
