Where to buy pre-drilled holes?
Hoping someone with more experience can help.
I'm looking to buy a large box of assorted pre-drilled holes.
I know I can make them myself with a drill press, but it would be much better if they were precision made in a factory. My drill press an be inaccurate and makes a lot of dust....plus, drilling lots of holes takes ages.
Something in the ranges of, say, 5mm to 20mm in 1mm increments of various depths. Since I don't know what depths the holes will need to be, dependant on job, I suppose they will need to be very deep holes and trim them to need.
I've tried Amazon, Incra, Rockler and Carbatec, but their sites make absolutely no mention of such a product. I'm very surprised at Rockler not having them.

Metric or imperial?
Maybe you could get a "Holeogram" to do the drilling for you. They never tire out!

Actually you can find the predrilled holes in the "Zero Kerf Band Saw Blade" store. They are just to the right of the door on the middle shelf next to the perpetually sharp chisels and sky hooks. This store carries all kinds of hard to find woodworking tools. My favorite is the automatic adjusting hand plane.

Years ago when the old man and the neighbour were erecting the paling fence to divide the 2 places they got carried away and dug 2 holes too many. That wasn't a problem in its self because there were other neighbours doing the the same job and they knew that they would/should get beer money for them. You wouldn't want to know....both of them split in half just as Dad was levering them out of the ground.
While we are on the subject I would like to by a quantity of Enthusiasm. I have asked at the counter of many places and they say they just can't keep up supply. So if any body has some to spare I would dearly like some.
As a trade though, I do have some grinding sparks that are only a day old and very orange/red (well they were yesterday)Just do it!
Kind regards Rod

Actually, I found some in the bottomless pit. But they've got chips at the top (or bottom) Any good? They're fairly deep too, but you could probably cut them down with the Kerfless saw mentioned earlier.

I did know a bloke who claimed he had any shape or size hole in stock, all the customer had to do was bring the money and material to put them in.

This thread should be boring!
Will look for some of the items like enthusiasm next time I am shopping.
What shape hole did you require or do you require the whole hole?
I have just seen one square at one end and round at the other. It did not look right so I filled it.

You could try Carbatec, I think they're next to the long waits
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

Can't help with predrilled as such, but if you use Sketchup and are willing to make one the size and shape you need, SU will duplicate them for you till you get sick of it or run out of material. That way you can get them online instantly instead of having to physically shop around for ages.
I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.

You can
You can make your own with a 3d printer I hear tell.
Depth comntrol is the issue.
Coz if you do drill a hole and then half fill it in, are you left with a whole hole or half a hole?
If you drill them Sunday are the Whole Holy holes or only half Holy holes or are the holey at all?.

Just the other day I bought a half-inch drill bit. I have been kicking myself ever since.
I didn't really want the bit, I just wanted the holes.
Why didn't I just get a packet of half-inch holes and be done with?
DougI got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.
