Very nearly got bitten by the Festool bug this week, was very seriously considering one of their sanders. Was between Festool or Mirka, checked Mirka prices on the Axminster site and wound up buying a Deros 5650CV kit for $820 landed in Australia. The same kit in Australia totalled $1420, gotta love regional prices [emoji854]

Festool tools are the best, though for routers others aren't too far behind. You can't beat the Dominos or sanders. I am a cabinetmaker, though do woodwork now as a hobby, I have a jigsaw from my trade days, and over the last few years have a router and Domino. Buy what you can afford, if I had my time again, I'd have bought the Bosch GOF 1600 router.

The paddle is an interesting design I'll pay that, not sure how much I like it. But otherwise a happy man, it doesn't bother me much.
