The Chook and the Thicknesser
My original challenge which started this tread was to see if anybody could give me any good reason why I should not get the 13 inch Carbatec spiral thicknesser. Since nobody did then I bought one at the wood show last weekend in Brisbane. I have set it up and am in the process of checking it out. So far I am very impressed. After this weekend I will have passed enough timber under it to give an informed opinion. The last thicknesser I had was a 12 inch Carbatec thing and it has chewed through 1 million.001 km of timber okay and is still working. My son will inherit it. If the new one proves as robust I will have no complaints.
My age is still less than my number of posts
