CA glue instead of double sided tape
Has anyone tried the technique shown in this YouTube video ?
http://youtu.be/ub6PsY4cgwg
As you can see, the trick is to use a piece of masking tape on both pieces which you CA together. Then you treat it just like double sided tape except it's thinner and easier to remove cleanly.
I can't see why it wouldn't work but if someone has tried it I''d be interested to know what you think.
Screwing up in new ways every dayCheers

If it were done when 'tis done, then 'twere well it were done quickly

Interesting , Cheaper but then there is the time delay ; double side tape means work can proceed now

Worth remembering , thanks.
I know if I I have ever clamped masking tape on , for true flatness or if its holding two pieces of wood together, its a nightmare to get off , just like the double sided can be.
What did the guy in the video do to his head!! can he be trusted for good ideas ??
