If you love doing it feeling tired from working is the best feeling in the world.

    ( OK second best! )

I applaud your curiosity and endeavor in trying to make a solid choice of profession. One thing I'd like to add is that in my experience everyone is in pursuit of nirvana in that they would like to be paid lots to do something they absolutely love to do. Some people achieve this and are very lucky however any pursuit of true success requires damn hard work. My advice is there is nothing wrong with giving it serious thought, be realistic in your expectations regarding stress, level of difficulty, exhaustion etc., and thirdly, your career choice is not a death sentence. I have changed careers a few times over the journey with each being as rewarding (and not necessarily financially) as the prior.

Finally, I have a motto that works for me....."If you try making a living out of your hobby, then you need to find a new hobby!"
