Cabinet hardware in Sydney
I'm building a cabinet at the moment for Mum as a Christmas present. I'm driving down to Melbourne next Saturday so I havn't got much time to spare. I need to find someone in Sydney that sells cabinet hardware (trying to avoid bunnings).
I need 4 hinges for the doors, and magnetic stops for the bottom of the doors.
Could someone please recommend somewhere in Sydney? I'd normally look online and order but I havn't got time!!
Thanks,
Andy

Hi Andy,
The square continues to give good service.
Try Windsor Antique Restorations. They have an excellent range.
Regards
Ken.

Hi Andy
you could try Specialising in fine hand tools and wood working books - The Wood Works Book & Tool Co. they're at Mona Vale and mainly do mail order, but Mike was at the Sydney Wood show this yearregards from Alberta, Canada

Depending on the quality you are after, and considering you are off to Melbourne I would recommend www.gernerhinges.com - fine brass hardware designed by Anton Gerner I purchased some of these for a cabinet I made and the hinges are magnificent!

Fancy stuff: Mother of Pearl & Son in Rushcutters Bay or thereabouts.
There is also a reasonable place in Willoughby Road, Willoughby but I can't remember the name, just down the road from the Porter Paints store.
