    Default Cabinet top and doors

I'm planning on building a cabinet for plates, glasses etc to sit in the dining room.
I've been looking at stringy bark (19mm) laminated to form the top and doors.
I'd like to use some contrasting wood (Jarrah?) to edge to top.
I've done a sketup of the sort of thing.
Is there anything I should be wary of, like difference in expansion etc?

    Cheers
    Tony

I think nobody has replied because most of us are unable to open the attachment. What is a *.skp file anyway ?

It'd help to work up your ideas in sketchup a bit more and then post some images as jpgs here. At the moment, even reading the sketchup file doesn't help much, too few details.

    cheers
