the issue with a bbq is the heat which is why you see trolleys but not cabinets. Perhaps you might consider a removable box over the top that you could attached with hasp and staple etc when not using it. Pretty much a pretty version of an old timber crate over the bbq when you're not using it.

That said, if they're like my dogs, they'll chew through the timber to get at the 'meat', so you might be better served by getting rid of the source of their frustration rather than hiding it.

As for the bbq mount - a jigsaw/bandsaw/router and a template will get you a timber support for an odd shape.

I think that you would need to make a fixed 'lawn locker' style enclosure for it, well secured to the ground. The enclosure would need to be ventilated to allow any gas which leaks during storage to disipate, rather than build up in a confined space (gas regs). I am thinking securerly fixed so the dogs cannot knock the enclosure and BBQ over to access the BBQ.

Thinking along the lines of a slab base with 4 corner posts, clad top and 3 sides with merbau decking or similar, 10mm gaps between slats for ventilation and a pair of lockable doors in matching material to allow the BBQ to be stored and removed betwen uses. Top could be solid and used as a work surface when cooking if desired, top ventilation not essential as the gas is heavier than air, so won't to escape through top. Could be tedious if you use the BBQ daily, but a viable approach if used a couple of times a week. BBQ just needs to be withdrawn from locker and positioned to one side so folding wing shelf provides the seperation to avoid timber catching fire. Wouldn't just withdraw the unit and operate immediately in front of or behind locker because of potential for heat damage.
