    Default Canberra Wood Show

OK in the spirit of all the other wood shows so far are we planning some kind of get together at the Canberra show. It about 3 weeks away.

I have my foilie and am prepared to use it.

I will probably be going all three days - the first two will be a combination of the show and also duties with the ACT Woodcraft Guild - and on the Sunday - Father's Day - I will be there with my son - as it has become something of a tradition to go. Of course the bargains later in the day are also tempting.

    Cheers

I'm picturing the Canberra woodworking show with all these people standing around out the front waiting to fill in the 6 page form which allows entry.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

I'm all for a meeting - with or without caps. I wonder if anyone will be representing Ubeaut AND be a supplier of caps???

Although it's early times yet, but I'd suggest a meet up on Saturday around lunch time. I figure we can meet at some obvious place - to be decided closer to the event.

I've taken the plunge with a TSC10-HBR (the 'R' is to get a router wing from Carbatec WA) so the funds will be very light for the weekend ....

I'll be there on Friday, first port of call is to see Malcom and see what goodies he has bought down, then to the other timber suppliers. Don't have a foilie but if I wrap my wallet in foil will it help.

    Cheers

In my infinite wisdom have booked a freaking holiday to south australia that week and weekend. Knew I should have checked my diary.

I'd love to catch up, but I won't be able to make it.

I was hoping to grab a thicknesser and, if SWMBO is feeling generous, a jointer (or perhaps an ML392 except I don't like the look of the dodgy fence). Perhaps next year...

Carroll's Woodcraft Supplies will be there with all our goodies as well as the "U Beaut" products.
We have been in touch with Neil and he has said that for anyone wanting caps to let him know and we will bring them along with us to the show.
All prepaid ones will get first grab at what he has in stock and if there is any left after that we will bring them along.
He is still waiting for delivery of the current order which is due in sometime this week..
So get your orders in early so as not to be dissapointed.
