Carbatec 10" Combination Jointer/ Thicknesser - Adjusting Beds
Hi All
I own the Carbatec 10" Combination Jointer/ Thicknesser the beds came from the factory severely out of coplanar. I have since drilled out the roll-pins and made it as good and in line as i can get it. However is is still unsatisfactory.
I find that adjusting the beds that the adjustment is much to coarse, and on the other side very hard to achieve good results by using roll-pins and shims. I am planning to remake some sort of adjustment mechanism and was curious to see if anybody had done/ seen the same thing done? On this combination machine both beds flip over separately, i was thinking of trying to attach something where they hinged together similar to the Jet models.
Thanks in advance!
