Note that both competitors / resellers do not carry stock!

Total Tools have a crazy "order fullfilment model" where you order on line, the order is sent to your "local" store for fullfilment, then they order from supplier to store, and dispatch per customer directions. Oh, and the local store ring to ask "do you really want that?" as if it's a PIA to them to serve you. Been there on several occasions - a real PIA.

Carbatec have a price matching policy - Carbatec Information

    Price Matching Policy
Should you find an identical product at an Australian Retail or Online store available at a lower price than at Carbatec, under our Price Matching Policy, we will match the competitor’s price of that Product where applicable, providing that:

To activate the Price Drop Promise Customers are required to:

The product is identical in product model and all specifications (proof of competitors offer may be required)
The product is in-stock (at both Carbatec and the comparing Retailer)
The product has the same warranty terms and conditions

Our Price Matching Policy excludes products that are:

Part of a clearance, sale, auction or redemption
Forms part of a package deal
Is second hand, damaged or used (including demo models)
Is a product to be specially ordered in.
    From overseas retailers and websites.

    Thanks. Handy to know.

Bunnnings has one too. Which is pretty pointless on many of their tools as the brands are unique to Bunnings, notably Ozito, Ryobi, AEG and Craftright.

I don't know if it is still true but Bunnings Special Orders desk used to sell out of the Carbatec catalog.
I wonder where they are getting their Kreg stock from?

Just curious - what router is it designed to take? Looks like just the body of a trim router (e.g. Makita) which might not have enough grunt for larger router bits. Doesn't look like it will fit any standard plunge router like Triton or DeWalt 621.

Designed and pre-set to work perfectly with the Carbatec RT-RPU2400 24000W Router Power Unit....from the detailed description.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

What is even more alarming is Bunnings, Total tools, and Sydney tools , now sell exactly the same products at exactly the same price.

Too my mind there’s some seriously doggie stuff going on there, Price fixing an what’s the government doing about it.

We are going down the same vomit inducing Model, that now covers the United States, same S…… same stores identical, different locations, same S …. Service.

    No.

I think Carbatec stocks so much Veritas stuff just to make their own prices look reasonable.

Has the OP set a test for us here? I'm surprised that no posters have noted that the product is neither a router table, nor branded Carbatec, as the subject line would lead us to expect.

Not a test. I stuffed up.

If it was a test, you'd get the prize.

EDIT: Time of #1 post might be a clue to stuff up.

    You almost got that right

It is Bunnings and Tool Kit Depot (formally Adelaide Tools) that are owned by Wesfarmers
