Cedar Colour
Afternoon all,
I am in the process of making another one of these cedar occasional tables which SHMBO bought quite a few years ago and decided she wants another to match.
As you can see from the freshly turned leg, it is much lighter in colour. It was a piece from the Gold Coast hinterland before the Hinze dam, so is pretty old.
I don't want to use stains if possible in case I screw it up.
Any ideas on a finish that would sorta match the original?
Any ideas/thoughts gratefully accepted.
afterthought - maybe this should be in the "Finishing" area
Cheers,
Ned
