    Post Ceiling storage space.

I'm planning on utilising some of our above-ceiling space for storage. I'm leaning toward tongue-in-groove flooring, although someone suggested MDF. I reckon the flooring will be easier to fit into odd shapes, has anyone had experience with this? Does anyone know where I can get flooring here in Melbourne, preferably wholesale and/or offcuts?
    Thanks, Shaughn.

Flooring is fine. I would be trying the salvage yards for 2nd hand stuff. (Whelan The Wrecker etc.) Try the Yellow Pages and let the fingers do the walking. There are plenty of wreckers yards around.

I am in Geelong and just got enough first class material to build a complete office (4 metres x 12 metres) in the factory, with 4 enormous pursepex windows and a full roof etc. and all for only $210. New material would have cost $2,500+ for the same thing.

    Cheers - Neil

PS The stuff I got was 10ft x 4ft wall sections 2" thick covered with walnut veneered 3 ply then covered with a foam backed material then covered again with heavy white plastic. 5 of these walls had 2mt x 3mt perspex windows in them. I reckon those alone to be worth around $500. The whole lot came from the Avalon Airshow. Each section cost $10 then they threw in (free) what looks like, a mobile dance floor 15ft x 5ft x 75mm to sweeten the deal.

Geez, how I hate to gloat.
