    Are the accents thru the thickness of the board or just recessed into the faces and edges?

    Runningman, they run through the thickness. Takes a few steps to get it done. I use a router to cut the curve part-way through, then a bandsaw to separate the two "halves". A flush-trim bit is then used to clean up both edges. The accent strips are 2mm thich, so the curve with 5 strips is made using a 10mm router bit, and the other curve uses a 6mm bit. The strips are glued into place then sanded flush for the first curve, then the process is repeated for the second curve.
