Well ive taken my time but the board is together, sorry about the bad picture once again but lighting up something this big was too difficult. stille need to do the 4 knights then ill take it all back to school tho sand and finish with i dont know yet.
The wood for the board is Kwila and Victorian Ash, for the drawer the front is silky oak as is the draw support but the sides of the drawer are tasmanian blackwood, the base is jarrah, and the bottom of the drawer is teak, and the part that the drawer is on is scribbly gum? and kwila, although most of this was made with leftovers and offcuts, it was all free, but the inside of the drawer is very dodgy, the walls are thing, and the mitres on the jarrah dont meet up very well, one of my dovetails on the drawer supports chipped so that looks kind of bad aswell. All in all im satisfied with it, but not quite happy with it, cant wait to play a game :P Oh and i turned the knob out of silky oak aswell.

    Hi Michael,

You've done well with this, from what I can see

I'm interested in how you're planning on doing the knights with the off centre turning.

Good luck with the rest of it.

    Cheers,
    Dave

I like it. You have done very well. If you do not tell people the mistakes then we would not know.
