    Default Chicken coop for kiddies...

Daughter is school teacher.... school needed chicken coops... its ultra safe & strong! 1st of two identical coops... cut 2 out, only had time to construct one yesterday. It's super cute. Every piece has been sanded & smoothed because of small hands. 70x19 solid frame with slide out replaceable bottom covers on floor. Only pine & marine ply but being housed indoor large shed. I'm happy with it... down side, already have orders for more. hehehe

There were times that I needed one of them to store my kids in.

    Nice work. simple but useful.

I made this one a few months ago. Strong and safe. No predators can come anywhere near the chickens. Wire mesh floor inside the coop makes easy cleanup. Droppings go straight onto the tray underneath it, and the tray gets emptied every weekend.

LOL...strange you say that... my daughter said she thinks she can fit a few in there. It's so nice to help out schools that are trying to be eco friendly. Glad you liked, Second one we'll do on Saturday. Enjoyed putting the roof on it... as the tongue & grove allowed for the slight curvature. People wouldn't realise unless they knew. All pine, as its being kept inside. I was happy with it.

Gee the one you did looks much bigger than what I could do. Thought doing two for school would be easy... lol... now two more orders. (Wait don't know if you can call freebies orders...) Daughter & D-in--law wants one, that sounds ok, doesn't it, well it would if daughter had chickens......... no she want coop before she gets chickens.!!!
