Childrens toybox
My nephew recently had his first birthday and I wasn't sure what to get him. The wife suggested I make a toybox, you know how wives spring these things on you a few days before the event...
So I had a week to make a toybox, with a little thing called work taking up my time from 8-5 in between!
I managed to keep it simple, as I had a similar box to copy at home, but I decided to go without the lid for safety and practical reasons.
I still can't believe the cost was kept under $40 for materials!
I thought I'd post some pics, which are attached.
The wife did come to the rescue and make the sign...

Great job - good solid box that will stand the test of time and children Now the real test is can he be taught to put his toys away in the box when he's finished playing with them

Great job. he will use it as a Christmas stocking - so much more practical than a sock or pillow case and holds much more besides!
