    Default New Chisels

I got a new set of Stanley’s a couple of weeks ago, these are for general carpenter and framing so no needed for a really nice set.

My question is in the past I have sharpened them to 30deg before use, what is the boards recommendations for getting these new babies in to shape before they get used.

    Gaza

I recommend 50 laps of backstroke or until FLATout, then a cross country sprint up an down a (water) stones until you are nice and sharp.
