Choosing a strong, lockable wall mounted tools cabinet
Ive seen the Trojan brand wall mounted cabinet at Bunnings for about $350 and wandered what people think of this product? It looked pretty awesome as Im thinking of getting this as a gift. Ive heard Super Cheap Auto does these kind of things too. The triton one looked really strong and I liked the fact that it locks. I wonder where the best place would be to get these kind of things as I was hoping for a decent one.

$350 can buy a fair amount of materials to make them, a good 1st project for you!

While he's getting the new piece for the damaged cupboard he can grab the materials... same stuff.
You can buy melamine(the white chipboard)16mm thick in precut widths with one edge already pre'edged(295 to 595 in 50mm increments), just cut it to lengths to make the sides/top/bottom/shelf's.
Because they are tool cabinets buy a 2400x1200 sheet of 16mm melamine, this can make the backs for strength and ease of mounting and also the doors(if he wants that look...).....................................................................
