The insert with the dials in is silky but the frames on both are reclaimed wood from a slated ceiling and I haven't a clue what it is.

    Hi,
No not a pine, I was told an Asian hard wood by the chippies who pulled it out after a nail let go and OH&S had a field day.
As for the mitres some on here won't wont to believe it, but they were done on a Triton 2000.
    Regards
    Hugh

I have done mitres on the Triton just crappy ones using pine so I tend to agree I most likely not pine.
