    Default Which Circular saw blade

I need to cut a lot of half decent ply boards, about 18mm thickness, and was wondering what you guys would recommend as a good blade. I need to minimise the splintering to a minimum. I'm using the 235mm Triton saw and workcenter but seen as it's just a general inquiry I thought i'd post it here.

    Hi
Test first your standard Tungsten Tipped rip saw blade, (nicely sharpened) and see if it's good enough, otherwise then I guess you go to a finer toothed blade. Up to double the teeth on your average rip saw blade. More like a crosscut blade. It will cost more to buy and more to sharpen, but will not splinter as much.
Splintering will be less either way if your feed speed is less also.
    Cheers
    Bill
