I just nailed lengths of 2x1 pine to a couple of 2 inch spacers mounted on the wall at either end. I just hang the clamps on that.

Thanks Burnsy. Its amazing how someone often asks the question a week before me. And why do they always do things better.

Particularly liked Wongo's A-frame on wheels. Add some slide out shelves in the middle (full extension draw runners?) and you have a very compact storage unit.

And I'll follow Lord Nibbo's advice next time I do a large assembly, and photoshop it.

    Cheers

I use a nice piece of timber fastened on the wall (space permitting) and add long dowels with slight angle and spaced for each clamp type/size. I do not glue them so I have the option to change if required.

Ive built a clamping wall in my build area . It started off as a wall saw but gets used more for claming up and keeping work flat when finished . I normally leave my clamps hanging there .

I live in a small shop in the basement of my house. I made brackets to hang the clamps from the floor joists above my head....

and of course the Hand screws are clamped to the joists.
