    Default Clamp Storage Cabinet

Today I decided to make a clamp storage cabinet out of an old melamine pantry we no longer use.

Everything in in my workshop rusts unless I cover it. So I wanted somewhere for my clamps to live.

I had had seen a bracket on YouTube that allowed you to hang Clamps in front of each other, I saw this as a real space saver.

Firstly, i removed the cardboard back as it needed to be strong enough to take the weight of the clamps.

Using my trusty pocket hole jig I prepared the 12mm ply

Mounting the ply, I had to use 2 pieces as I had some left over and it was only 1200mm.

    A much stronger cabinet

And my small collection of Bessey clamps have a new home, not sure how to rotate the images, but you get the idea. I could fit 18 of these clamps in the cabinet.
