    Default Classes have started

    Folks,
    A little announcement
    Last night was the start of the first classes at The Lumber Bunker.
    The class is a beginner box making course and runs for three sessions over three weeks. The end result will look similar to the one in the photographs.
    Every thing in this particular course is done by hand. Ripping, jointing, dovetails etc.

    We are running other courses all the time. Check our web site for the woodworking class time table

    At the moment the classes are all darkside methods until we get the o.k for the machinery (soon). Next month will see different classes (subjects) and times.

    Pics will be posted on The Lumber Bunker web site gallery as students finish work at the end of each class.

    Any questions fire away (about the course/s).

    Bugger, finally some one having classes on Hand making Boxes, but it's in bleeding Gosford

    Good on you, Steve, but I don't think MBGitW would understand me nicking off to Gosford for three nights. Any weekend classes?

    Yep,

    Keep an eye on the web site for other classes and the times.

    Sat. 19th we are running a jig making course where you make a bench hook and a Shooting board. (yes you get to keep them)

    We have had interest in a Saturday/Sunday Box making course, but have not set a date yet. Watch the web site for the date. (It looks like it will be sat-26th 2pm-6pm sun-27 9am-2pm and another in September)

    Default Class information

    Attached is a word doc with the classes for the rest of this month and September.

    26th/27th of this month is the small dovetailed box run on the one weekend.
    Other one day classes like saw sharpening, sharping in general, Routing and specific joints will most likley start in November.
    To book in or ask any questions just call the shop and we will help you out.

    If you require accomadation there is a F-1 across the road which we can arrange for you.
