Default How do I clean the non-slip underlay mesh after years and years if sanding.

How do I clean the non-slip underlay mesh after years and years if sanding.

I usually just use the garden blower and/or just shake it out.

Anyone know of a way to wash this in the washing machine?
Or if I should or not?

    Hand wash?

    etc?
    Thanks,

If you have a front loader it will most likely survive otherwise a soft brush and dishwashing detergent.

    Thanks China.

Gotta go stop the good lady from putting it the washer even though I told her to wait.

We used 1800x700 sheets of it on our dining tables when at sea; we’d just throw them into the big industrial washing machines to clean them.

I don’t think putting them in a top loader would cause any problems.

    Already washed in top loader.
    And onto her second load.

Washing is the ladies realm I dare not transgress for fear of having the task assigned to me.

Keeping me fingers crossed that the next load is not affected.
    Thanks,

It would be more entertaining watching Barry go into a real shop to buy the white frillies.

We have been married 55 years in August. While we were just going together I would usually let GF have my car while I was at work. One morning I needed to drop my laundry at the laundromat on the way to work. A great convenience BTW as for an extra couple of dollars they would actually do my laundry, fold it and allow me to pay by check. (The latter is perhaps the greatest convenience ever.) So then GF, now SWMBO says I'll do the laundry. The only thing that I do with laundry these days is to move the machines.
