Default Cleaning saw blades & router bits

Been doing some work with pine that wasn't as dry as it should have been. What's the best way of cleaning gunk off before sharpening

I've been told (but have not yet tried) a 50/50 mix of kerro and metho does the job also.

    Default To Blokhed:

I second the oven cleaner. I use it in the school shop on a friday pm after the kids have left. Soak it over night in the tray that the porceline (sp) stove has in the bottom drawer , scrub with the tooth brush, rinse it in hot water, and it's good as new. BTW, the stuff lasts for ever; pour it back in the bottle for the next time. Wayne
