Collet and Nut
I went looking for a 12mm collet and nut and ended up a Bunnings. I won't be using this collet on a router, it will be used on a mini lathe that I am building up from a $15.00 Jewellers lathe.
I am passing this information on for what it is worth. A Ryobi half inch router has a hex nut part 88 and and a collet to suit part 89 in the blow up.
It has a M20 x 0.01 thread. Now this is the same size that Makita uses, However, a big however, you must think of quality. If Ryobi is confident that the parts will not fly apart in their router, it must have some merit.
Now, this may shock you. One day delivery, parts cost $7.10 for both peices.
That is seven dollars and ten cents.
