Old Combination table/saw-anyone identify this?
Hi all
My father has left me a comination table saw that has the following;
Table saw on shaft that is attached to a planer / thicknesser.
Spindle moulder
Some sort of sliding table/tenoning sliding thing.
Its 3 phase, made of cast iron thats painted green with red painted adjuster knobs.
It has script moulded into the casting on the motor cover that says
"L Invincibile 1750" or "L Invincilile 1750". (french or italian maybe...the words Marcia and Freno are written near a lever)
Does anyone recognise the brand / type and are they good quality and worth having serviced/restored. Who could service one of these?.
Hope the pictures are clear.

The company is now called SCM. I don't know the particular machine myself but regardless what you want to do with it (sell or use) the L'Invincible tools were not misnamed!
Don't be discouraged if you think you don't have 3 phase power. A surprising number of homes have it already. Even if you don't there are phase converters to convert 240V 1 Phase to 415 3 Phase.
Another alternative is to sell it either privately or through a dealer and use the money to buy whatever suits your needs. I think that this machine would not be easy to sell through the local trading post but I would give it a try first anyway.
It would be interesting to some better pics if you have any.

SCM L'Invincible mini 30
Indeed the SCM L'Invincible mini 30 is a formidable and robust machine. I have known of no other machine from way back in the early 1970s'. We have continued to use this machine in an African village setting till now even though some of its functions have ceased to operate, we currently can just about plane, saw and drill with reduced accuracy
Am keen on replacing this machine with another good working SCM L'Invincible mini 30 old as this model may be
Any generous offers out there? Am aware freight charges for such a bulky piece of equipment may be well over the actual machine cost
