Here timber is standing trees, lumber is after it is cut and boards
are after it is milled.

It took a bit of thought to figure out that leads were extension cords,

Thanks for your help. I have not given up on the inverter in fact my daughter is off to Singapore today and she will look out for some tool shops. She works for an International Airline and I am slowly educating her on the benefits of good gifts to her dear old dad.
