Be sure to check out the Routers! A lot of the guys here say good things about them including Myself. I bought My first Craftsman router in 1970, and it still works pretty well.

    Thumbs up Craftsman Tools

Apparently Craftsman is exclusive to Bunnings. Big win for Bunnings to secure Craftsman. They have some great innovative spanner sets in-store.

Why is that Lignum? Did you have a bad experience with Bunnings? Where do you shop for your tools?

Bunnings specialise in crap power tools. I would prefer to look up the yellow pages and find a specialist tool outlet to spend my hard earned on… But each to their own

This craftsman range may not be the same as was around years ago when they were good quality.

Like most names they have recycled the name for a range of tools directly out of china aka GMC

Lets see how long it takes for Bunnings to muck it up.

Just out of curiosity, what is your interest in all this?

You come on here telling us about a new line in Australia that most don't know about yet. So I wonder what is your interest in all this. Do you work for Craftsman or Bunnings?
    Cheers

I have just been to Bunnings and bought a Craftsman's latest innovation in spanners called and ratcheting open end wrench. Works brilliantly!
The quality looks very good so I think Craftsman have held it together even though they now manufacture some products in China. The spanners are from Taiwan.
I asked the guys at the tools area if they will be getting any more Craftsman products....as expected he had no idea.
I lived in the US for a few years and bought a lot of Craftsman products. Never been dissappointed.
