Cupboards for Pop-Up Van need ideas
I like the idea of a pop-up van so I bought an old one with the intention of stripping it out and making the cupboards to suit me.
The cupboard height is of course governed by the height of the bottom half, so the sink and the stove are very low, about sitting on a chair height.
My plan is to make the sink and stove height correct for me which would be too tall for the roof to lower.
So make the new cupboard the height of the bottom section of the van. Now make a top section of cupboard hinged to the lower carcase to fold down when the roof is lowered.
Can you think of a better way to get over this problem
Of course you can
thanks in advance

Les,
can you post a couple of pic's,.
Have you brought a pop top caravan, or a wind up camper trailer??
If as I think you have a wind up camper, you are really stuck with what you have to a degree, the stove could be mounted on a fold over cabinet( remember that you will need flex gas line), the sink is a bit more of problem with both tap & drain, but by lengthening the pipes and using flexible hoses, you should be right, .
